ASTM International fiber-optic standards

Marmota actively participated in the development of International Standards for fiber-optic sensors during 2013 . Dr. Michael Iten of Marmota was invited in spring to take over the technical lead of the ASTM International WK39910 Working Group “Standard Practice for the Use of Distributed Optical Fiber Sensing for Monitoring Ground Movements around Utilities and Tunnels”. By now, the Working Group consists of a large percentage of the international experts in the field and is ready for ballot.
